Operation Muffin Drop
Thank you for clicking on "Operation Muffin Drop". Over six years ago we met a wonderful guest who was on leave from Iraq. She shared stories and photos of life in a war zone. She told us about how lonely it is to be so far from home during the holidays. Her mom baked cookies and other treats and mailed them to her. She shared them all around.
This inspired us to start baking. Since none of us had anyone serving in the military, we had no one in particular to send our muffins to, so we sent them to our former guest for her to send them to Iraq. Over 1000 muffins have been baked and sent over the last six years and we're baking again. "Operation Muffin Drop" is Castle Marne B&B's contribution to the war effort. We bake hundreds of muffins and ship them overseas to remind our military personnel in war zones they are loved and appreciated. The sweet taste of home all in one delicious muffin.
If you'd like to help just give us a call. 303-331-0621 and say "I want to join "Operation Muffin Drop". We'll get you in touch with someone overseas to receive your baked goods to be enjoyed by our fighting forces overseas.
